GIRLS Shelby County High's Caterina Karas is this week's winner of the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for girls' cross country in the state of Kentucky, as chosen by www.tomleachky.com. Karas, a freshman, ran a time of 18:53 to win the KTCCCA Meet of Champions in Lexington.
BOYS James Maglasang of St. Mary's High School is this week's winner of the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for boys' cross country in the state of Kentucky, as chosen by www.tomleachky.com. He won the Graves County Twilight Classic in Mayfield in a time of 15:53. He is currently the top-ranked runner in Class A.
