Football: Tom Leach PrimeTime Prep Performers

CLASS 6A

Running back Austin Johnson of Campbell County High School has been chosen as the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week in class 6A football in the state of Kentucky.   Johnson gained 245  yarsds and scored a touchdown in a 49-28 win over Mason County.

CLASS 5A

Quarterback Steven Duckworth of  Woodford County High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class 5A football in Kentucky.   Duckworth completed 40 of 49 passes for 416 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 38-14 win over Franklin County. 

CLASS 4A

Running back Curtis Logsdon of  Bullitt East High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class 4A football in Kentucky.   Logsdon carried 30 times for 312 yards and all five of his team's touchdowns in a 40-35 loss to Fairdale. 

CLASS 3A

Running back Tim Beard of Adair County High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class AAA football in Kentucky.   In a 47-8 win over Casey County, Beard averaged more than 13 yards per carry while gaining 244 yards and scoring four TDs. 

CLASS 2A

Running back Caleb Watkins of Corbin High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class AA football in Kentucky.   Watkins ran for 301 yards on 20 carries, including two TD runs of more than 90 yards, in a 48-34 win over Lexington Christian. 

CLASS A 

Running back Ricky Buckler of Bellevue High School is this week's Primetime Prep Performer of the Week in Class A football in the state of Kentucky.  Buckler carried 20 times for 202 yards and three TDs and a two-point conversion in a 61-22 win over Bracken County.
