CLASS A

Quarterback Matt Jones of Fairview is this week's Primetime Prep Performer of the Week in Class A football in the state of Kentucky. Jones rushed for five touchdowns out of the Eagles' new spread Wing-T offense as Fairview rolled over East Carter 54-17.

CLASS 2A

Running back Seth Setser of Prestonsburg High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class AA football in Kentucky. In a 27-20 win over Class 3A power Breathitt County, Setser scored the clinching touchdown on a four-yard run inside the final minute. That score was set up by a blocked punt in which Setser participated and he also scored the Blackcats' first TD on a 56-yard run.

CLASS 3A

Quarterback A.J. Cordle of Russell High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class AAA football in Kentucky. Cordle threw TD passes of 32 and 41 yards to Justin Mitchell in Russell's 35-20 win over Boyd County. Boyd coach Lee Evans told the Ashland Daily Independent 'there's no question, that (the passing game) was the difference in the game.'

CLASS 4A

Quarterback Jamarielle Brown of Lone Oak High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class 4A football in Kentucky. The former first-team all-state wideout accounted for five touchdowns in the Purple Flashes' 54-13 rout of Crittenden County. Quarterback Zach Isrel of Covington Catholic High School has been named the Primetime Prep Performer of the Week for Class 5A football in Kentucky. Isrel completed 18 of 27 passes for 323 yards and three touchdowns as the Colonels' rallied past Newport Central Catholic 38-34.
