Harrison County Advances to State Semis With Win Over Trinity

Logan Dailey pitched a two-hit shutout as Harrison County beat Trinity in the first round of the KHSAA State Baseball Tournament.

Dailey threw 85 pitches over seven complete, allowing nine hits, striking out two and walking none.

It's Dailey's third clutch victory in the post-season, having allowed just one earned run in the past 21 innings.

The 'Breds collected just four hits, with one each from Eric Case, Shane Fowler, Eric Sanders and Christian Chasteen.

Harrison advances to play Lexington Catholic tonight at 8:30 in the
semi-final round.
